① Meet your guide at Takehara Station (JR呉線 竹原駅).

② Move to Takehara Port by private car, and board the car ferry to Osaki-Kamijima island.

③ Visit the island’s producers (production sites) to procure ingredients and seasonings needed for the oyster BBQ.

Afternoon

④ Visit a sake brewery to procure ginjo sake to pair with the oysters.

⑤ Transfer to Oyster BBQ House Yasuura by private taxi after shopping for BBQ ingredients at a local supermarket.

⑥ Enjoy the oyster BBQ and ginjo-sake pairing at an oyster farmer’s house on the Seto Inland Sea.

⑦ Transfer to Takehara by private car.

⑧ Explore the Takehara Historic Preservation District. Purchase limited-edition sake from the brewery as a special keepsake from your journey!
